Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.
A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
