President Trump Calls Families of Attacked National Guard Members to the Presidential Residence
President Donald Trump revealed on Sunday that he has asked the relatives of a Guard member fatally shot last week to attend the presidential home.
He noted that he contacted her parents and they were “heartbroken”.

“I told them: ‘When you’re prepared, because that’s a hard experience, come to the White House. We’re going to honor her,” Trump informed the press. “And likewise with him, whether he recovers or not.”

Law enforcement have charged a 29-year-old suspect with a charge of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder while armed.
The incident prompted the Trump administration to pause asylum applications and temporarily stop providing visas to owners of travel documents.

The airman, a resident of Martinsburg, started his military career in early 2019 and is a graduate of his local high school, as reported by the news agency.
He is still undergoing care and is “fighting for his life”, the state’s leader the governor stated on a news program.
The state’s top lawyer the attorney general told Fox News Sunday that she planned to speak to the family.

Sarah, from her hometown, completed her education from Webster County high school in 2023 and enlisted soon after, working as a law enforcement officer with distinction, as stated by the military.
“She had a lot of compassion and she definitely had bravery,” the governor told the crowd at the memorial. “Though her life was cut short, she has made an impact that’s going to last forever.”
