Passionate followers of the actress are urging that a man who breached a barrier and seized the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared video reveals the person identified as Johnson Wen pushing past photographers and lunging at Grande while the performers walked down a yellow carpet surrounded by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "free after being arrested", though court documents showed that he was scheduled to appear on the next day. It is not clear if he was charged.

Record of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram feed features clips of him disturbing other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney show in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last year.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," stated an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Followers Show Disapproval Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her May 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented one more message on Instagram.

Some attendees also criticised security officers at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested online networks to ban Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In footage circulating online, Grande seemed startled when she was touched by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Many of Singapore supporters had queued up to see the cast of Wicked

Hundreds of attendees had congregated in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore venue, including some who had queued for as long as eight hours before it began.

The motion picture, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a dual adaptation of the well-known theatrical show Wicked, which centers on the unlikely bond between two distinct characters.

The show itself is a spin-off of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning film of last year in the UK, and received 10 award recognitions, securing a pair for best costume and set decoration.
